Town Center Bikeshare
Tandem's flagship initiative, Town Center Bikeshare, stands as the first CID-sponsored bike share program in the state of Georgia. This visionary program boasts 24/7 rental access, featuring 45 bikes stationed at six key locations along the scenic Noonday Creek Trail. What sets this program apart is its commitment to accessibility – the first hour of usage is entirely free, encouraging community members to embark on exploration without constraints. Beyond the initial hour, a reasonable fee structure of $1.50 per 30 minutes ensures affordability and convenience.
Cumberland Bikeshare
Complementing Town Center Bikeshare, Cumberland Bikeshare further amplifies Tandem's impact in Cobb County. Boasting 35 bikes distributed across six strategic stations, this program seamlessly integrates with Town Center Bikeshare, offering users the flexibility to ride across the Town Center and Cumberland areas with unparalleled ease.
2 Wheel Fitness Bikeshare
In collaboration with Rockdale County, Tandem Mobility introduced the 2 Wheel Fitness Bikeshare program in November 2023. This initiative is designed to offer a unique mobility solution, promoting wellness, exercise, and fun for both residents and non-residents. The program's pedal bike stations are strategically located at community centers, including Johnson Park, Wheeler Park, and C.E. Steele Community Center, all easily accessible through a user-friendly mobile app.
