How does Tandem Mobility ensure the availability and accessibility of ADA-compliant bikes within its bikeshare program, catering to individuals with mobility challenges?

For now, we do not provide ADA-compliant bikes.

What is the annual replacement rate of your hardware?

Our standard replacement rate is 10% of the fleet annually. This is based on the industry average for theft and loss in bike share programs- our current average of loss across all Tandem markets is 9.45%.

What is the lifespan of a Tandem Mobility bike, and how often are they replaced?

The lifespan of a Tandem Mobility bike varies depending on usage and maintenance, but on average, our bikes are replaced every 3-5 years. We constantly monitor the condition of our bikes to ensure they meet our high standards of safety and functionality.

What are the requirements for the installation site of a Tandem Mobility station?

The installation site for a Tandem Mobility station should be a prepared and flat surface. While installation directly onto a concrete pad is desirable, we can also install freestanding stations on asphalt. The site should be accessible, visible, and convenient for users, and should comply with local regulations and permissions.

Can Tandem Mobility stations be customized to suit the needs and aesthetics of a specific location or community?

Yes, Tandem Mobility offers customization options for our station signage. While one side is required to include our standard instructions, the back panel can be used for sponsorship, safety information, or other community-specific content.
