Pennsylvania Region

Tandem Mobility is bridging service gaps and offering more choices for the community to connect with local businesses, like healthcare facilities and job opportunities in Pennsylvania. Right now, the five bikeshares mentioned below are collaborating to establish a regional bikeshare approach. The residents/visitors can buy a yearly membership from one of these systems and enjoy access to all of the following programs.

Hershey Bikes

Launched in September 2020, Hershey Bikes is making it easier, healthier and more fun to navigate the campus of Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center & Penn State College of Medicine campus and the Hershey community. The program consists of 40 bikes across 9 stations. The riders can either use two types of membership plans i.e. Penn State Health & College of Medicine Membership and Annual membership or enjoy the pay-as-you-go option.

Bike It Lancaster

Introduced in April 2021, the City of Lancaster's bike share initiative provides residents with an accessible and cost-effective way to move around their hometown using 25 bikes. Spread throughout the city, these bikeshare stations are convenient for short trips, allowing users enough time to reach their destinations.

WYOWays Bikeshare

In May 2022, the Borough of Wyomissing, in partnership with Tandem Mobility, launched a new bike share program serving Wyomissing & West Reading with 18 bikes conveniently located at 4 locations.

Susquecycle Bikeshare

Launched in the fall of 2022, SusqueCycle provides an efficient, affordable, healthy and environmentally friendly mobility option for people who live, work and visit the area. We currently have 8 bike rack locations in Harrisburg, plus 1 in Hummelstown that's connected to Hershey's bike share program.

Reading Hospital Bikeshare

Ten bikes have been placed on Reading Hospital’s campus, located at two stations: 7th Avenue Parking Garage (DOB) or Vanity Fair, located outside TowerDIRECT. For Tower Health employees, bike rental from a Reading Hospital or WYOways station is free for the first three hours, then $5 per hour for each additional hour. Employees are automatically enrolled in the PA Regional Membership, through Tower Health, which provides access to regional bike-share programs including

In addition, all community members with a PA Regional Membership to the bike share program have access to the bikes at Reading Hospital. Bikes can be returned to Reading Hospital or WYOways stations after riding.
